If you’re not a Super Lawyer- You should be!

The nomination process is still underway for 2019 Florida Super Lawyers. If you haven’t already, visit https://my.superlawyers.com to get started. Requesting access and completing your attorney profile is the first step. You can also email your resume directly to the Research Dept. at sl-research@thomsonreuters.com.

Nominations are the next step in the process. To be eligible to make nominations, an attorney must be licensed and practicing in the State of Florida. These are due by October 2, 2018. It is important to remember that a nomination from an attorney outside of your firm holds approximately 3 times more weight than in-firm nominations. If you were listed in Florida Super Lawyers last year, make sure and update your profile and submit your nominations, as the process starts over each year.

Super Lawyers uses a patented multi-phase selection process, including nominations, independent research and peer evaluations.

The strategic value of obtaining legal awards in your area of practice is an excellent way to gain an edge over your competition and add credibility to your name and firm. Here’s a secret… Half the chance of winning awards like Florida Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, Top Lawyers and Florida Trend’s Legal Elite is simply being nominated. This typically takes just a few peer nominations.

Submission requirements and deadline dates are critical. At Pristine PR we stay on top of these for you and have been successful in getting our clients featured in some of the top legal publications as recipients of these awards. Don’t forget to showcase these awards on your firm’s website, social media, email signature, your office and everywhere else! Custom award badges are complimentary to Pristine PR clients.
