Branding: It’s as easy as 1, 2…3

2.) Branding Avenues

• Develop a mission statement
A slogan or tagline that sums up your qualifications and makes you stand out from your competitors (i.e. – For the People, Morgan & Morgan; Where Media, Marketing & Technology Meet, Pristine PR)

• An eye-caching logo or graphic – (i.e. – The Golden Arches, Nike Swoosh)

• Vanity telephone number (i.e. – 1-800-LAWYERS)

• Keyword rich domain name (i.e. – www.miamibankruptcy.com)

3.) Establishing Your Brand

• Community Sponsorships (i.e. – Volunteering, charity or other grass roots involvement)

• Public Relations (i.e. – Frequent exposure in print, TV, radio and online media outlets)

• Additional Websites (i.e. – WordPress blog, Q & A site)

• Online Brand Management (i.e. – Google, Yahoo! and Bing Reviews, profiles on top legal networking sites like AVVO.)

• Social Media- Creating business pages for your firm on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. (TIP: Do not just post information on your page, INTERACT with your followers. Ask questions. By asking questions you can learn more about your followers, which enhances the interaction. This will also keep followers on your page for a longer period of time.)

• Email Marketing (i.e.- E-blasts, E-newsletters)
